Tuition savings, dedicated educational support to help ENA members reach career goals

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (Aug. 16, 2021) – The Emergency Nurses Association and Chamberlain University on Monday announced a new educational partnership focused on helping ENA members earn the degrees and certifications they want to advance their careers.

This new agreement brings together two organizations dedicated to supporting the future of nursing. As the premier emergency nursing organization, ENA has a long-established commitment to educating emergency nurses and bolstering their commitment to patient care. Chamberlain, home to the largest nursing school in the United States, has a 130-year history of preparing nursing graduates and health care professionals looking to take their next career step.

ENA members receive a partner tuition rate for Chamberlain degrees – from RN and BSN to master’s and doctorates – and certificate programs that support ongoing professional development in the health care field. Additional benefits include waived application fees, complimentary transcript services and dedicated advisors to support ENA members through their academic journey.

“The partnership with Chamberlain is an exciting one for ENA members who have their eye on lifelong learning and career development that aligns with workforce needs,” said ENA President Ron Kraus, MSN, RN, EMT, CEN, ACNS-BC, TCRN. “Education opens the door to opportunities, and ENA members have a new option thanks to Chamberlain.”

Chamberlain President Karen Cox, PhD, RN, FACHE, FAAN, shared Kraus’ enthusiasm about bringing ENA and Chamberlain together.

“We know that the shortage of nurses and other healthcare professionals is a primary concern that has been exacerbated by the pandemic, so it is vitally important to expand access to educational opportunities for anyone who may be considering this career path,” Cox said. “Emergency room nurses have a vital role in ensuring patient care during times of extreme urgency and we want to honor the work they do through this partnership with ENA.”
