Brooks Hero Collection at Academy Sports + Outdoors Benefits ENA
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (July 9, 2025) – Academy Sports + Outdoors, a leading full-line sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer, and Brooks have partnered together to help fuel the future of emergency nursing through scholarships and grants.
Through July 18, for each purchase of a pair of Women’s Trace 4 or Women’s Adrenaline 24 shoes from the Brooks Hero Running Shoes Collection at Academy, Brooks and Academy Sports + Outdoors will combine for a $10 to benefit the ENA Foundation.
“We know nurses, especially emergency nurses, are on their feet constantly. It’s great to see a brand like Brooks recognizing everyone in health care with these specially designed shoes,” said ENA President Ryan Oglesby, PhD, MHA, RN, CEN, CFRN, NEA-BC. “And it’s even better that the sales of these shoes benefit the ENA Foundation and the great work it does.”
Established in 1991, the ENA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Emergency Nurses Association, has strived to provide educational scholarships and research grants to those in the emergency nursing specialty.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded $7 million in scholarships and grants to more than 3,000 emergency health care professionals. In 2024, the Foundation awarded $584,000 to 246 nurses through its various scholarships and grants.
