ENA Leadership Conference 2026 – coming to Dallas, Texas, Jan. 29-30 – is where ENA's emergency nursing leaders from every level unite to strengthen their leadership skills, share bold ideas and shape the future of emergency nursing.

What to Expect

ENA continues to evolve this event to meet the rising demand for strong, skilled leadership in emergency nursing. Every attendee is encouraged to dive into sessions that spark growth, insight and inspiration, including all ED Leaders sessions to expand their professional potential, while the ENA Leaders sessions will be exclusive and specific to ENA council and chapter leadership roles and information.

ED Leaders Sessions

These sessions will include content for 2026 officers and ENA members interested in pursuing a council or chapter leadership role.

Sessions for council and chapter leaders will cover the roles and responsibilities of the president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer, membership chair, government relations chair and TNCC chair listed in the Council/Chapter Management portal. Discover proven strategies to grow, engage and sustain your ENA community through effective membership retention, marketing and fundraising.

ENA is proud to advance its ED Leaders education series, designed to elevate the expertise and confidence of emergency nursing front-line leaders. 

These sessions strengthen your foundation in critical areas, from health care systems and leadership to communication, collaboration and business management, while sharpening the problem-solving and implementation skills that drive real results. ENA Leadership Conference 2026 sessions will be content captured for registrants to view after the event. Please note that education sessions are subject to change.

Education

  • Jan. 28: Optional, free pre-conference session: Successful Professional Development! Applications that Get Approved
  • Jan. 29: Full-day programming beginning with 7:30 a.m. breakfast, concluding with reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 30: Full-day programming beginning with 7:30 a.m. breakfast and closing general session ending at 5:30 p.m.

Who can register?

ENA Council and Chapter Leaders: All ENA members who hold a leadership role – from council and chapter leaders to government affairs chairs, global member leaders and more. The 2026 council president, president-elect, secretary and treasurer positions are only eligible for complimentary registration. All other ENA leaders not receiving complimentary registration can sign up to attend for $290.

Please note the roles receiving complimentary registrations may differ from year to year. Other attendees eligible for complimentary registration include ENA Board of Directors, ENA Foundation Board of Trustees and the Corporate Engagement Council members. ENA leaders at the chapter level must register at the discounted rate.

ED Leaders: All emergency nurses who are aspiring ED leaders or are currently leading within their hospital or organization are eligible to register to attend for a fee.

Will CNE be available?

Yes, there is accredited education taking place at this event. Please check back for more information on claiming contact hours.

Can I be a presenter next year?

You sure can. Share best practices and essential insights for professional and leadership development in emergency nursing. The event continues to offer ED leader education that parallels the council and chapter leader content, providing new levels of knowledge for transitioning leaders. 

Primary speakers are offered an honorarium for their presentation. The proposal submission period will open next summer for your opportunity to present at ENA Leadership Conference 2027.
