ENA Endorses Lawmakers’ Letter Calling for Nursing to Be Included in ‘Professional’ Programs
ENA endorsed a letter by a coalition of lawmakers to U.S. Education Department Under Secretary Nicholas Kent that calls for including nursing in the department’s definition of “professional programs.” The inclusion will allow nurses to access adequate federal student loans while pursuing graduate degrees.
