The Call for 2024 ENA Election Candidates is Now Open
The Emergency Nurses Association needs passionate, collaborative and diverse members to lead the premier association for emergency nurses. ENA seeks candidates who represent the association's mission to advance excellence in emergency nursing to serve as leaders. In 2024, applications are being accepted for the following positions:
ENA Board of Directors
The ENA Board of Directors provides governance and strategic direction for the association to advance excellence in emergency nursing and ensure ENA is the premier organization for the worldwide emergency nursing community.
- 2025 President-Elect (1-year term)
- 2025 Secretary/Treasurer (1-year term)
- Three Directors (3-year term)
Leadership Development and Elections Committee
The ENA Leadership Development and Elections Committee oversees ENA’s annual election. The committee is responsible for developing and ensuring a pipeline of future leaders. The committee reviews applications, vets potential candidates and provides a final slate of qualified candidates to the ENA Board of Directors and membership.
To fill existing positions on the committee, the call is open to Regions 4 and 6 for ENA members who do not have prior board experience.
In addition, based on the change to the committee’s structure and to grow the committee, there will be an additional three open positions from Regions 1-6 for members with or without prior board service.
