Upon completion of the course the nurse will have a greater understanding of the history, vison, and action strategies of the Nursing Call to Action and disaster Nursing Education. The presenters also provide selected websites to enhance the learner’s knowledge of nursing’s role in disaster preparedness and response, and help make it possible for the emergency nurse to actively contribute to that body of knowledge and evidence.
