This presentation aims to provide the listener with a review of proper 12-lead acquisition, review of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiac electrical conduction system and electrical vectors, providing a foundation to discuss and understand the pathophysiology of abnormal electrical conductions. This lecture will review how to identify the presence of, determine clinical relevance related to, and clinically correlate the management of patients with bundle branch blocks, hemifascicular blocks, and axis deviation to deem them as harbingers or harmless.
