ENA Committees, Work Teams, Advisory Councils and Special Interest Groups Volunteers are the heart of ENA’s organization. Volunteers provide a link to practice, education and special needs that benefit our members. As a volunteer you have many opportunities, both at the state and local level, as well as, the national level to network with your fellow nurses around the country as you investigate, deliberate and analyze special issues tasked to each individual group. You will have an opportunity to influence the emergency nursing profession as well as advance your own professional development.
Committee activities and expert recommendations are key components of the foundation of an association. The volunteer groups provide a link to practice, and needs of our members. Committees also serve members developing and suggesting resources that benefit members. In addition, association committees provide an opportunity for developing leaders.
