ENA Day on the Hill 2015

Inviting You to Advocate for Emergency Nursing
on Capitol Hill
April 28-29, 2015

Download the March 16, 2015 webinar “How to Hug a Porcupine: Relationship Building with Lawmakers and Why It’s Important.” Participants will learn: who do Congress and state legislators listen to; what congressional staffers believe are the most effective communications tactics for influencing undecided Members of Congress; and how to conduct effective in-person meetings, influence legislators at town hall meetings, as well as effective advocacy in the state/district.

Registration for ENA’s annual Day on the Hill advocacy event is now open!

This two-day event features:

  • An interactive training session with congressional messaging expert Christopher Kush on how to most effectively message ENA’s legislative requests
  • Specific information about ENA’s congressional requests so ENA members can speak knowledgeably about these issues
  • An opportunity to meet with congressional leaders on Capitol Hill to discuss how they can positively influence the future of emergency nursing
  • Networking sessions, an ENA public board meeting, and Town Hall

This is event is designed for ENA members both new to advocating on Capitol Hill, and for nurses who have previously attended ENA Day on the Hill events.

This event was extremely popular last year, so please register through your State President or Government Affairs Chairperson today.

We hope you can attend!
