The ENA Foundation / Sigma Theta Tau International, Inc. (STTI)

The ENA Foundation and Sigma Theta Tau International, Inc. (STTI) have combined resources to offer this annual research grant. The ENA Foundation/STTI research grant provides funding for research that will advance the specialized practice of emergency nursing.


The ENA Foundation and Sigma Theta Tau will provide one $6,000 award in the 2017 grant year.



Deadline to apply is March 1, 2017 at 12:00 pm CST.

ENA Foundation Seed Research Grants


Are you interested in Research? Need funding for that starter grant? The ENA Foundation offers $500 seed grants that can potentially open the door to future funding in emergency nursing. .

Applications for this grant will open August 1, 2017.

Emergency Medicine Foundation / ENA Foundation Team Grant

The Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF) and the Emergency Nurses Association Foundation (ENAF) are pleased to provide a research grant to support a true physician-nurse partnership in a clinical research area pertinent to the practice of emergency medicine. This grant is intended for physician and nurse researchers to combine their expertise to develop, plan, and implement clinical research in emergency care.
The EMF and ENA Foundation will provide one $50,000 award in the 2017 grant year.  

Applications for this team grant are currently closed. Please check back in December 2017.

Funding for this research grant was provided equally by the ENA Foundation and the Emergency Medicine Foundation.
