#GivingTuesday is a worldwide initiative focused on encouraging individuals and communities to give back to the causes they believe in. Join the ENA Foundation’s support of emergency nurses and donate during #GivingSeason, which kicks off on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 27, and continues through Dec. 31.
At the heart of every community are dedicated emergency nurses. The ENA Foundation’s mission is to empower those emergency nurses by providing continuing education opportunities, educational scholarships and research grants. But a gift to the ENA Foundation is more than just a contribution to a scholarship or grant – it is an investment in the health of your community and the nurses who care for us when we need it the most.
This #GivingSeason, join the ENA Foundation in support of emergency nurses everywhere. Help us reach our goal of 100 new or returning donors by the end of this year!
A gift to the ENA Foundation is a thank you to the emergency nurses who are always standing by for you in your time of need. More importantly, your gift helps save lives by equipping nurses with the knowledge and tools to be successful in the field. Just ask emergency and critical care flight nurse Emily Walton-Pecaitis, BSN, RN, CEN.
“Receiving the Judith C. Kelleher Memorial Scholarship was such a blessing,” Pecaitis said. “It took a huge stressor off my shoulders. Now I can focus on this program and give 100 percent to earning my degree.”
In the October issue of ENA Connection, read more about Pecaitis’ role as a flight nurse, the event that marked a turning point in her professional development and the life-changing impact ENA Foundation donors had on her.
The ENA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization whose mission is to provide educational scholarships, research grants, and continuing education in support of emergency nurses, and the emergency nursing profession.
