Q: How will registration for EN21 full conference refunds be handled?
A: Registration for all conference registrations will be changed automatically to a virtual conference registration with the difference between the member in-person and virtual rates being refunded. Please allow 60 days for refunds to be processed. There will be no credits transferred to Emergency Nursing 2022.
Q: If I received a membership as part of my Emergency Nursing 2021 registration, how will that be handled?
A: Your registration will automatically be changed to a virtual conference registration, you will be refunded the difference between the in-person and virtual nonmember rates, and will be able to keep your ENA membership.
Q: What if I already booked my flight for Emergency Nursing 2021 in Orlando?
A: Airlines are now providing credits and refunds depending on your book parameters. To cancel all flights, please contact your travel agent or the airline.
Q: How will hotel reservations be handled?
A: All hotel reservations for Emergency Nursing 2021 in Orlando will be canceled and deposits refunded where applicable.
Q: What will the virtual experience be like?
A: ENA’s goal for the virtual Emergency Nursing 2021 is to provide as many ways as possible for emergency nurses to learn, network and connect. Live and on-demand education opportunities will be available to all registrants via their computer or mobile device along with a virtual exhibit hall and dynamic networking opportunities throughout the event.
Q: How do I participate virtually?
A: Emergency Nursing 2021 was planned as a hybrid experience from the beginning. That means a robust virtual platform is already in place for all registrants to participate virtually whether live or on demand. The virtual event will be accessible from any computer via web browser or via mobile app that will soon be available in both the Apple Store and Google Play store. Additional details will be shared soon.

Q: Will the dates change?
A: The dates for Emergency Nursing 2021 will be Sept. 22-24.
Q: Is it possible to register five and get the sixth free for the virtual conference?
A: Yes, the register five, get sixth registration free deal still applies.
Q: Will there be a virtual exhibit hall?
A: Yes, there will be a virtual exhibit hall. The virtual exhibit hall will provide all attendees an opportunity to connect with industry partners. New this year is the ability to schedule appointments to meet with exhibitors via text chat, voice or video directly through the virtual event platform – including on your mobile app. Further details, including exhibit hours and exhibitor information, will be provided in the coming weeks.
Q: Will there be parties or networking events?
A: Yes. As ENA transitions to a fully virtual event, it knows the opportunities to connect with your fellow nurses and have fun are crucial to the experience of an Emergency Nursing conference. ENA is actively working to bring you unique and fun opportunities to connect with fellow attendees. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
Q: How many CNE hours will be available from the virtual conference?
A: Virtual participants will be able to claim 50-plus contact hours for Emergency Nursing 2021 accredited education. All sessions will be available, and credit open to claim, until Jan. 31, 2022.
Q: How does this impact General Assembly?
A: General Assembly will be held in a fully virtual format on the LUMI platform – the same technology used during EN20X. Additional details will be shared with delegates by the ENA Governance Team. All registered delegates will have their registrations switched to virtual for General Assembly, and when applicable, Emergency Nursing 2021. Registration for all conference registrations will be changed automatically to a virtual conference registration with the difference between the member in-person and virtual rates being refunded. Q: Will the General Assembly dates change?
A: No, however, ENA is considering a similar virtual execution to 2020 and will modify the schedule accordingly.
Q: Will anything about General Assembly change?
A: General Assembly will operate similar to how it did in 2020, with a streamlined agenda that focuses on the state of ENA and the key items for delegate consideration.
Q: How will delegates participate virtually?
A: Delegates will participate using the LUMI platform which will include a livestream of the General Assembly proceedings.
Q: How will I know if my personal technology will allow me to participate?
A: ENA will host a Test Your Tech session and a delegate training to ensure all attendees are comfortable with the virtual platform.
Q: What happens to my ENA Foundation 30th Celebration ticket?
A: Ticket holders for the ENA Foundation 30th Celebration have the opportunity to request a refund by emailing the ENA Foundation team at email@example.com. Refund requests must be made in writing by Sept. 10. Any ticket proceeds for those who do not request a refund will be considered a donation to the ENA Foundation. VIP ticket holders will receive their 30th anniversary memento by mail.
Q: What happens to my registration as a conference scholarship recipient?
A: In-person conference scholarships funded by the ENA Foundation will be transitioned to virtual scholarships. Scholarship winners who have already registered for Emergency Nursing 2021 will automatically be converted to a virtual scholarship and registration. We are unable to defer in-person scholarships to future years, however, you will have the opportunity to apply for future in-person scholarship opportunities.
