Ensuring independence when planning, implementing and evaluating continuing nursing education activities
ANCC Accreditation criteria require that providers plan, implement and evaluate quality continuing nursing education activities with integrity, free from the undue influence of commercial interest organizations. A provider may be defined as an Individual Activity Applicant.
A review of the ANCC Content Integrity Standards for Industry Support in Continuing Nursing Educational Activities is recommended.

Notice to Activity Coordinators/Nurse Planners:
Activity Coordinators/Nurse Planners should always download new forms during the planning stage. Forms should not be saved from previous submissions, as progressive changes will take place as expected with the science of continuing education.* Preparation is essential in planning an educational event for nursing contact hours.
