Why do you seek a position on the Nomination and Elections Committee?

I am seeking re-election to NEC because I am interested in contributing to the future of Emergency Nurse Association. I'm passionate about continuing to work on this committee and give back to our profession in a positive manner

How does your academic, professional background and experience within ENA make you a qualified Nominations and Elections Committee Candidate?

I have 25 years experience in ED, from bedside, to specialty programs and ED Leadership. My degree in combination with my experience and years of volunteer service provide a solid foundation to serve on this committee.

Outline the specific skills you bring, or contributions you hope to make to the ENA Nominations and Elections Committee.

I am able to articulate in a clear and concise manner, provide an unbiased opinion, synthesize data and work in collaboration with a diverse population.

Provide a narrative that exemplifies how you demonstrate the Nominations and Elections Committee Competencies. 

My experience working on this committee,along with the knowledge of current state and vision of future state provide me with the ability to use sound judgment and work in collaboration with ENA leaders and committee members to be objective and future oriented.
