Health and Safety

As part of its commitment to protecting the health and safety of all event participants, ENA encourages attendees to monitor their health prior to and during Emergency Nursing 2024 to reduce exposure and risk to all attendees.

If you are feeling ill or showing symptoms of illness, ENA suggests you remain home and avoid travel to limit the spread of illnesses that could be contagious and transmitted easily. If you are not feeling well during Emergency Nursing 2024, please do not attend any ENA events .

Although face coverings are not required during Emergency Nursing 2024, ENA encourages attendees to do what they are most comfortable with in the event facility, hotel indoor spaces and other event locations. Please be respectful of attendees and staff regardless of their masking decision and comfort level.

Assumption of Risk:
While ENA will follow CDC and local guidelines and take reasonable health and safety precautions in an effort to mitigate the presence and spread of contagious illnesses, it cannot, and does not, guarantee that event attendees will not be exposed to or contract any infections. Individuals attending Emergency Nursing 2024 are at risk of contracting illness, including COVID-19. By picking up your registration badge you understand, and accept, the risk that you may be exposed to and contract an illness. In doing so, you agree that you are personally responsible for your safety and actions while attending Emergency Nursing and related events.

Emergency Nursing 2024 registrants who are approved for a deferral request will be allowed to defer for only one year. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived.

If an attendee registered for an education session or special event add-on drops or cancels the option, the vacated place will be offered by email to the first person on the waitlist. The offer is valid for 24 hours. If the offer is not accepted during that period, the place is offered by email to the next person on the waitlist. The Emergency Nursing 2024 registration team will manage the waitlists and can prioritize waitlisted attendees. If an attendee fails to register during the 24-hour period, they may add themselves again to the end of the waitlist.
