Announcing the Emergency Nursing Orientation Online Course
The Emergency Nursing Orientation Online Course is a new blended-learning program that no emergency department should be without. Proudly presented by ENA and Mosby/MC Strategies, this innovative and interactive online program is designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of nurses working in the ED - including new and experienced nurses - as part of their orientation program and continuing education. The program teaches critical thinking and technical skills so emergency nurses can intervene with precision and confidence. Content corresponds with Sheehy’s Emergency Nursing: Principles and Practice, 5th edition. The course is presented in an organized, concise, and easy-to-read fashion with the liberal use of charts, animations, and interactive exercises. Self-assessment exercises appear throughout the modules with immediate feedback and rationales. The program also provides nurses with the opportunity to earn continuing education contact hours (CECH) through ENA.
