ENR – Emergency Nursing Resources |
ENRs facilitate the application of current evidence into every day emergency nursing practice.ENA anticipates that ENRs will make a positive impact on patient care and emergency nursing practice by bridging the gap between practice and currently available evidence. The ENRs were created based on a thorough review and critical analysis of the literature following ENA’s Guidelines for the Development of Evidence-Based Emergency Nursing Resources (Guidelines).

The ENA Foundation has partnered with other organizations committed to the advancement of emergency nursing. The ENA Foundation/Stryker-Industry Supported Research Grant, the ENA Foundation/Sigma Theta Tau International Research Grant and the Emergency Medical Foundation (EMF)/ENA Foundation Team Research Grant are offered annually to advance the specialized practice of emergency nursing. Applications and information are available from the ENA Foundation.
ENA offers two mailing lists for research, recruitment, and educational opportunities. The ENA membership list contains contact information for more than 36,000 emergency care professionals, and the ED nurse managers list holds contact information of approximately 5,000 emergency department leaders. Targeted feedback from ENA mailing lists can greatly enhance your emergency health care study or marketing research project. ENA must approve all materials for the purchase of a mailing list.
ENA’s research priorities for the field of emergency nursing provide a focus for nurse researchers’ efforts in conducting research on questions of significance to emergency nursing practice as well as to emergency care consumers.
