Pillar of the ENA Foundation Award

This award honors an individual, group, or corporation that has made a significant contribution toward achieving the mission of the ENA Foundation. The ENA Foundation Management Board established that the candidates should qualify by developing a significant project or campaign which promotes, continues, or enhances the efforts of the Foundation, and as a volunteer reflecting a major commitment of time or demonstrating a significant financial contribution to the Foundation or specific Foundation project.

The ENAF is pleased to annouce the recipients of the 2004 Pillar Award:

  • Elizabeth W. Bayley, RN, PhD
  • Chris Gisness, RN, MSN, CEN, CS, FNP-C
  • K. Sue Hoyt, PhD(c), RN, FNP, APRN, BC, CEN
  • Deborah Smith, RN, MS, MBA, CNAA
  • Suzanne Wall, RN, MS, CEN, COHN-S, FNP
  • ENA Presents Special Recognition Award to Stryker

    ENA 2004 President-Elect Patricia Kunz Howard, RN, PhD, CEN (second from right), presented a crystal bowl to Stryker representatives Lisa Osiecki, marketing communications manager; Nate Folkert, group marketing manager, stretchers; and Christine Broda, marketing communications asssociate. Howard visited Stryker’s corporate headquarters in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on June 4, 2004, to personally convey the Association’s gratitude for Stryker’s 34 years of continuous loyalty and support of sponsorship.
