Schedule Changes for Leadership Conference 2007 in Boston

The following speakers are now scheduled as follows:
Opening Session, Friday, January 23, 2007, 8 a.m.: Quint Studer, �The Safety Net in the New Age�Emergency Departments.�
General Session, Saturday, February 24, 2007, 3:15 p.m.: Ron McMillan, �Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High.� Room locations and additional details will be available onsite in your program guide.

Call for CFRN�/CTRN Distinguished Award Candidates

The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) and the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA) will recognize one outstanding CFRN or CTRN that has earned and demonstrated support for the CFRN or CTRN credential. For more information on how to apply or nominate a candidate, visit the BCEN Web site at www.ena.org/bcen/news/2007Call-CFRN-CTRN-Candidate.pdf or go to www.ena.org/bcen/news/ and click on Call for CFRN-CTRN Award Candidates. Submissions must be e-mailed to BCEN by February 28, 2007.

Newly Improved ENA Orientation Course

The most comprehensive Orientation course for ED nurses has been reviewed, reevaluated and reconstructed. The new ENA Orientation to Emergency Nursing course offers:

Self-paced interactive activities, offering self-check with feedback regarding correct and incorrect responses
More clinical time for the preceptor with participants
Customization materials to reflect the participants� strengths or weaknesses
