Emergency Nursing Triage Course—Now Live Online

ENA and Elsevier/MC Strategies have collaborated to develop a new Emergency Nursing Triage Course. This new interactive multimedia course offers all the latest evidence-based information to build a strong foundation of emergency nursing triage knowledge. This course can be used by every organization/institution no matter which triage system is in place. The course material has been designed for any nurse new to triage or any nurse who would like to enhance their triage knowledge. There are 17 lessons that cover the following information:

  • Basic Triage Concepts including: triage process, assessment and related legal issues
  • Special Situations including: mass casualty, triage across cultures and the lifespan
  • Chief Complaints including: burns, chest pain, penetrating trauma, psychosis to help nurses apply triage concepts to everyday practice
  • ENA Injury Prevention Institute’s Alcohol Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) toolkit which provides access to downloadable information and forms
Course participants can earn up to 17.4 continuing nursing education contact hours through Mosby’s Office of Continuing Nursing Education. For course details please click here.
