Nurse Competence in Aging - Top 10 List of Geriatric Best Practice Resources - Viewable Onine or Printable
The Gerontological Nurse Certification Review course examines the fundamental knowledge about care of the older adult that the registered nurse must master to be certified as a Gerontolgical Nurse by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association. The content and emphasis of the course correspond to that of the examination as outlined by ANCC. The course offers a summary of key clinical information and issues central to caring for the highly specialized needs of older adults.
