ENA Committees, Work Teams, Advisory Councils and Special Interest Groups Volunteers are at the heart of ENA’s organization. Volunteers provide a link to nursing practice, education and special needs that benefit our members. As a volunteer, you have many opportunities at the state, local , and national level to network with your fellow nurses around the country while serving as an ENA volunteer . For each volunteer role, you will have the opportunity to investigate, deliberate and analyze special issues tasked to each individual group. Through your collaborative work, you will be able to influence the emergency nursing profession as well as to advance your own professional development.
Committee activities and expert recommendations are key components of the foundation of an association. The volunteer groups provide a link to practice and help to address the needs of our members. Committees also serve members developing and suggesting resources that benefit members. In addition, association committees provide an opportunity for developing leaders.
