    Certification Manager, BCEN - Part-time independent contractor, 10-30 hours/week

    The Certifications Manager for BCEN provides integral support to the Certification Office.  Maintains responsibility for development and maintenance of certification product lifecycles. Serves as lead with CFRN/CTRN and new certification/validation exam committees. Provides appropriate training, business partnerships, quality control and new product business plans. Collaborates as needed with both the BCEN Executive Director and the Operations Manager.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' certifcation management experience.
  • Board experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel, and other computer databases.

    Course Operations Representative

    The Course Operations Representative works independently and as part of a team and is responsible for the interpretation and administration of the Administrative Guidelines in relation to the TNCC / ENPC /CATN courses developed by ENA. The Representative is responsible for approving all courses in advance, the efficient processing of course applications, sales orders, and post course materials. The Representative facilitates the growth of ENA courses by supporting the efforts of Faculty, Course Directors, State Chairs, and Instructors, while upholding the requirements of the Administrative Guidelines.


    Requirements:

    • Evaluates course applications, according to the Administrative Guidelines. Processes course applications and sales orders accurately and on a timely basis.
    • Evaluates post course materials, according to the Administrative Guidelines. Enters, scans, and processes materials accurately, and on a timely basis.
    • Communicates with Faculty, Course Directors, State Chairs, and Instructors to resolve issues and provide service. Communication includes Interpreting and enforcing the Administrative Guidelines to ensure Provider and Instructor courses are run properly.
    • Performs additional related duties as required or assigned.

    Copy Editor (Part Time Position)

    The Copy Editor is responsible for the overall management of content to be received from authors/editors. This includes guiding authors in technical preparation of book chapters, electronic media, preparing manuscripts for indexing, marketing, and third party vendors. Requires effective time management skills to ensure that multiple projects can be in production at the same time.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree.
    • Experience with medical, health care, or nursing related editing projects.
    • Previous publication experience with advanced proficiency in word processing, slide show presentations and other computer databases.
