Injury Prevention (IP) Online Reporting Guidelines

Reporting Deadlines
Injury Prevention reports are due on a quarterly basis. Due dates are as follows:
1st Quarter: January 1 – March 31
2nd Quarter:April 1 – June 30
3rd Quarter:July 1 – September 30
4th Quarter:October 1- December 31

Reporting Instructions:

ENA Members:  You will need to login FIRST to the ENA member area to have your member record information automatically populate the first section of the report.

Non-ENA Members:  The demographic information will need to be filled out each time you access the reporting link. Please note that the red fields are required fields and must be completed in order to access the report form.
~ Go to Non-Members Program Report

  • Select one of the following data to report (ENA Data, Non-ENA Data, or Outreach Activities) and click the “submit” button.
  • Type of Data:

    1. ENA Data: Report any instance in which an ENA IP Institute community-based education program(s) is used (i.e., Choices, Stand Strong for Life, Bike & Helmet Safety, Gun Safety). Each program will be reported separately.
    2. Non- ENA Data: Report any instance in which a non-ENA Injury Prevention program is used. (i.e., Trauma Roo, Every 15 Minutes, etc).
    3. Outreach Activities: Any collaboration that promotes injury prevention and involves an ENA Institute Provider, Instructor, or EIC. (i.e., mass mailings, recruiting, collaboration with other injury prevention organizations).
  • Fill in the appropriate fields and select the total number of programs presented in that category. (i.e., if you presented 5 Choices and 2 Gun Safety programs you would indicate 7 under “Number of Programs”). You will be automatically taken to the program description page to indicate the name of the program(s), date, presenter(s) and number of attendees. Please note that only a total of 20 programs can be reported at a time.
  • If you have any other data to report in a different data category, select it and click the “submit”button. You will then be prompted to the appropriate reporting page.
  • If you do not have any other data to report, or if you are finished reporting select the “I’m completely done” category.

Please note that once you have submitted your data, it takes 2 business days for your online record to show your updated information. If you need to modify the report you just submitted, please contact us at 800-900-9659, x 4112, or via email at ipinstitute@ena.org.
