The creation of the IP Institute provider training was guided by the core competencies for injury and violence prevention
from the SAVIR-STIPDA Joint Committee on Infrastructure Development. The training includes information on basic injury prevention and safety; access and utilization of data; design implementation, and evaluation of programs;community outreach advocacy and policy. It also includes an introduction to the injury prevention programs offered through the Institute. IP Institute programs are presented to more than 300,000 people a year. The more people we reach, the more injuries and deaths we can prevent. |
