January 2012 Forty Seventh Edition

ENPC 4th EDITION UPDATE

As we begin a new year, there is more news on the status of ENPC 4th edition. We expect to send out the first version of the test for validation to selected course directors within the next two weeks. Once this analysis is completed, a second version will be sent out for validation.

Additionally, there is a group of course directors who have volunteered their time to validate the new skills stations the day before ENA Leadership Conference in February. We are continuing to move forward, and our timeline is unchanged from the last announcement. We plan to rollout to the course directors and instructors in early August 2012 with the instructor manual being available electronically. The plan for rollout will be finalized with a joint meeting of Course Administration Faculty and the ENPC Revision Work Team that will take place late January. Once they confirm the details, we will distribute this information to you. Please know that we will make every attempt to keep your time and financial commitments to a minimum.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and encouragement.

IS WELL RECEIVED!

The new eCourseOps course management system was launched on November 27th and has been utilized by many TNCC and ENPC course directors to add over 300 new course applications! If you are a course director, and have not yet had a chance to use eCourseOps, please log in to the ENA web site and choose eCourseOps from the dropdown menu under Courses & Education. You will be able to view all your courses, invoices, and credits, as well as manage your courses, and pay those invoices. There are help documents on the eCourseOps landing page to assist you, as well as a webinar you can view.

We continue to thank our Course Director Focus Group for providing the oversight and direction that made this project a success! Stay tuned for further enhancements to this new course management system.
