Make Tracks to Fast Tracks

The marketing materials for this new offering at the 2009 ENA Annual Conference in Baltimore have boasted, “Maximize your time and attention and get more.” These 30-minute sessions will provide the newest, need-to-know information in rapid-paced factual presentations.

The Fast Track format is an innovative 2009 conference addition tailored to your nature and your needs. Great for busy attendees who want to maximize their time both in the Exhibit Hall, as well as in education sessions. Great for experienced emergency nurses who want to get right to the point and then move on.

Most of these Fast Tracks are repeated during the conference to allow greater flexibility with Exhibit Hall activities. Review the Fast Track offerings in your Onsite Program Guide or Click here (page 5), and find the ones most useful to your practice, and make tracks to those Fast Tracks as your schedule permits.

A lot has already been said about this new Annual Conference feature and we could go on, yadda, yadda, yadda. But, we really believe in them and know you will enjoy the benefits.

Everyone Comes to the ENA President's Party

It may be a few thousand miles from the deserts of North Africa, but you will feel like you’ve been transported to a Moroccan paradise when you attend the 2009 ENA President’s Party, “An Evening in Casablanca,” Wednesday, October 7, from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

After slogging through airports or highway traffic, start your 2009 ENA Annual Conference experience off right with a relaxing evening of elegant entertainment, fabulous décor and a delectable light supper. Round up the usual suspects and head over to the Baltimore Hilton Ballroom to bask in the cool sophistication of an authentic a cappella group. The delightful tropical setting will be the hottest nightspot in town, especially when “Frank Sinatra” makes a special appearance.

“I loved the idea of a theme party,” said 2009 ENA President William T. Briggs. A classic movie buff and enthusiastic world traveler, Briggs will be your gracious host for the 2009 President’s Party. “The idea of a party returning to a grander age intrigued me. A little mystery, a little romance, a chance to dress up and dance to the music of Sinatra—what more could you ask?”

Black-and-white attire is encouraged but not expected—you don’t need formal wear to walk into this gin joint. You do need a ticket, though: Click Here or stop by the registration area at the Baltimore Convention Center. Tickets are $65. The ENA President’s Party usually sells out, so hurry and reserve your tickets now.

“An Evening in Casablanca” has everything an ENA Annual Conference attendee could want—fantastic food and entertainment, a chance to catch up with colleagues and network with your 2009 ENA president and board of directors—all in a setting worthy of Ingrid and Humphrey.

We know what you want to hear.
