REMINDER � TNCC UPDATE DEADLINE

Please remember that current TNCC instructors must be updated by April 30, 2008 in order to remain as an active TNCC instructor. Instructors who have not been updated to the 6th edition will no longer be active instructors as of May 1st.

ENA IMPLEMENTS NEW DATABASE 1/31/08

ENA�s new database went live January 31, as planned. We continue to work to refine the new system and appreciate your patience as we upgrade our capacity to serve you. There are a few changes you may have already noticed:

INSTRUCTOR CARDS

All current ENPC and TNCC instructors will be sent new instructor cards by the end of March. Please note that if you are currently an active TNCC instructor in the 5th edition, you will receive a new instructor card, but if you are not updated to the 6th edition by April 30th, you will no longer remain as an active TNCC instructor.

In the meantime, please use your most recent instructor number on any course documentation. We will be able to identify you.

COURSE NUMBERS

Course numbers are now shorter. The last two digits which used to represent the anticipated number of participants have been eliminated as follows:

Previous: TP20080505-21B-10
New: TP20080505-21B

Continue to use the course number that was originally assigned to the course, even if it is in the previous format.

COURSE CONFIRMATIONS

The new database is now sending automatic email course confirmations on a nightly basis, once your course application has been processed. The email replaces the postcards sent to you in the past. PLEASE be sure that we have your current email address on file.

The new system is also generating automatic weekly emails to each State Chairperson (or State President if there is no known Chairperson). The weekly email provides a list of all course applications approved in his/her state within the past week. The email includes the course director, location, type and date.

CORRECTION TO ENPC REVERIFICATION CECH

There was a typo made on the CECH calculation for the new ENPC Reverification course. The total CECH for the course is 6.5, and the correction has been made to the Administrative Procedures on the ENA Web site.
