ENPC ERRATA REGARDING RECENT AHA CHANGES

The American Heart Association (AHA) recently released its updated 2005 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiac Care. As a result of these changes, the ENPC Workgroup did a thorough review of the ENPC materials, including the Provider Manual, Instructor’s Supplement, slides and written exams. The ENPC Workgroup has prepared an errata memo which describes key AHA changes followed by the areas affected in ENPC.

The errata memo can be located on the ENPC page of the ENA website:http://www.ena.org/catn_enpc_tncc/enpc/ENPCAHAguidelinesupdatememo051606.pdf

The errata memo will be shipped with each ENPC Provider Manual and Instructor Supplement until the next reprint, scheduled for mid-2007.

The errata memo will also be sent to all current ENPC Course Directors and Instructors. In addition Course Directors will receive a replacement CD which will include updated slides, paperwork, written tests and a new PowerPoint presentation for Chapter 9.
