Position Statements 

Position statements are developed after a thorough review of the literature, discussion with content experts where appropriate and a consideration of any evidence based practice that is integral to the topic being considered. Position statements may be created in collaboration with other groups and issued as joint statements. On occasion ENA is asked to endorse position statements written by other organizations and post them for member use.

It should be recognized that these position statements are recommendations only and are not codified in law or regulations.
