Emergency and Trauma Nursing Delegation to Costa Rica
Dr. Gail Lenehan, EdD, MSN, RN FAEN, FAAN – Immediate Past President of the Emergency Nursing Association (ENA) – will be leading a unique overseas cultural and professional exchange opportunity in November, 2013.
People to People Citizen Ambassador Programs is coordinating a delegation of emergency and trauma nurses who will travel to San Jose and Arenal, Costa Rica, from November 2-9, 2013.
This delegation will seek to increase collaboration with Costa Rican professionals and organizations on topics of mutual interest in the emergency and trauma care arena. This will be combined with cultural activities highlighting the sights and sounds of the country. Delegates will enjoy insider views of the emergency and trauma nursing profession in Costa Rica and experience the culture in ways that most travelers never do, from exploring small, local neighborhoods and the Arenal Natura Ecological Park to observing professional counterparts in their element.
