Statement to the Membership
My experience with ENA has spanned the past six years, both on the state and national levels. I am currently serving as the president-elect (2009-2010) and eventual president (2011-2012) of the Illinois State Council. Nationally, I have been a member of the Institute for Emergency Nursing Research, and currently am a BCEN item-writer. I am looking forward to expanding my role as a member of the Nominations Committee. Presenting the best slate of candidates to the membership, mentoring the candidates through the election process, and assuring an impartial election are important responsibilities of the Nominations Committee. I am looking forward to participating in this process and I am asking for your support so I can serve you, the members and the association.

Platform Statement
My ENA involvement began with an interest to participate in a professional organization where I would have a voice benefiting the emergency nursing profession. Serving the members of ENA as an elected member of the Nominations Committee is a responsibility I will look forward to assuming.
