What leadership attribute is essential to enhance the image and effectiveness of ENA?
One of John Di Frances Leadership Attributes is to "Live your Standards and Mentor those who follow." It is fitting for ENA Leaders to illuminate those ENA Standards created over the years in their daily work and decisions. By upholding this image those who come behind us will have a goal to achieve.

|STATEMENT TO THE MEMBERSHIP |
Throughout my journey in Emergency Nursing, ENA has always played a vital role. It is hard for me to remember a time when ENA was not a part of my life. Over the years, my involvement with the organization has not only made me a better nurse and person; it has allowed me to develop my talents in communications, to look at the whole picture and to bring others to the common table.
Similar to the planets alignment, my life has come together to where I now have the support and skills to be able to face the work that is required to be a member on our National Board.
In my previous State and National ENA involvements, I have always tried to work diligently, be creative in problem solving and make my decisions for the common good. If I am elected it will be a whole-hearted welcome to the new direction of my journey as I use my talents and commitment to work for all Emergency Nurses who face the difficulties affecting our patients, our evolving work environment and above all, our health and wellness.
Emergency Nurses have always faced challenges and our future will continue to have its fair share. Our National Board needs to be the conduit though its resources and means to be a partner to assist Emergency Nurses with the solutions to these challenges. As a Director, I promise to work with the other Board members to be this instrument for our members to face our future in order to continue the excellence of ENA
