    SENIOR ASSOCIATE
    INSTITUTE OF QUALITY, SAFETY and INJURY PREVENTION

    The Senior Associate, IQSIP is responsible for managing professional practice initiatives for the Emergency Nurses Association and its affiliates by utilizing broad, evidence-based knowledge of emergency nursing and emergency health care. The Associate interacts with ENA staff, members, Board of Directors, other health care providers, national agencies, organizational and community advocates on programs, and projects related to emergency nursing practice, quality, safety and injury prevention.

    Membership and Course Operations
    The Member and Course Services Representative works independently and as part of a team and performs many entry level responsibilities providing service to our members and course directors.

    REQUIRED:

    1. Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
    2. Minimum of 1 year of experience providing general administrative and customer service support.
    3. Minimum of 1 year of experience interpreting and administering complex rules and procedures.
    4. Proficient skills in data entry.

    DESIRED:

    1. Previous Association experience.

    Web and Databse Developer

    This position will play a significant role in supporting and enhancing web and database applications within (or ancillary systems connected to) the Association Management System (AMS) in a team environment. The responsibilities will encompass all aspects of software development including analysis, design, development, programming, testing, implementation, training and documentation utilizing various development tools.

    REQUIRED:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related field or an equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience
    2. Experience in full software development life cycle
    3. Minimum of 3 years experience developing in SQL Server version 2008 or above
    4. Minimum of 2 years experience developing SQL Server Reporting Services
    5. Minimum of 5 years experience developing in web-based technologies including ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and XML, XSLT
    6. Minimum 3 years experience developing in C# using Visual Studio
    7. Minimum 2 years experience using and developing Web Services
    8. Knowledge of software applications being utilized by the Association (e.g. MS Office, etc.)

    DESIRED:

    1. Experience using netForum Enterprise
    2. Professional experience working for a trade or professional association
    3. Experience using and developing in SharePoint
    4. Experience using graphical editing tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
    5. Knowledge of user interactions and behaviors for mobile devices

    Communications and PR Manager

    This position works closely with key stakeholders to build the profile of the profession of emergency nursing and the association. This position will also ensure consistent communications for the association and support emergency nursing advocacy initiatives.

    REQUIRED:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field
    2. Solid media relations experience and demonstrated news coverage placements
    3. Minimum of 7 years of PR/communications experience; PR agency and journalism background a plus
    4. Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate concise, relevant and powerful messages

    DESIRED:

    1. Previous Association experience
    2. Previous Healthcare experience
