The mission of the Department of Research is to conduct and disseminate research related to emergency nursing and emergency care. In addition, the Department of Research serves as a resource and assists ENA members and non-members in their professional development by facilitating and supporting research-based practices for emergency nursing and emergency care.
Major Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, conduct, and disseminate research studies
- Manage the administration of abstract submissions and poster programs for both the Annual Conference and Leadership Conference
- Participate in ENAF grant review
- Provide staff support for the Institute for Emergency Nursing Research Advisory Council
- Provide research services to other ENA Committees/Work Teams
- Provide research services to other ENA departments, the ENA Board of Directors, ENA members, and staff
- Develop and sustain the Institute for Emergency Nursing Research
