The Institute for Quality, Safety and Injury Prevention (IQSIP) is a new model designed by ENA to provide resources that empower emergency nurses to integrate quality, safety and injury prevention into their everyday practice and become leaders within their institutions and communities. The Institute builds on the strength of ENA’s nursing practice and injury prevention expertise by integrating these functions under the umbrella of a single area. This integration is key to ENA’s Safe Practice, Safe Care declaration.
Vision
The Institute embraces ENA’s overall strategic framework vision – ENA is indispensable to the global nursing community.
Mission
The ENA’s Institute for Quality, Safety and Injury Prevention advances quality and safety for emergency nursing and emergency care to improve outcomes through best practice tools, advocacy and education.
