ENA Practice
References (EPRs) are developed by the ENA Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee and
entail a thorough review of the literature to identify best practices as they
relate to a specific clinical topic in emergency care.
It should be noted that
variations in practice and a practitioner’s best nursing judgment may warrant
approaches, treatments and/or procedures that differ from the recommendations
within ENA Practice References.
